There was a guy who put the 350Z front 4 pot brembo's on the rear. But it was a heavily modified race car set up.

Here is their website: Home

I believe that some of the pro race teams running 370z's use the 350z brakes for the rear. I believe it made for better brake balance front to rear.

I read somewhere the reason why they use it. Is because it's a smaller caliper to get the brake balance the way they like it. It's less brake force on the rear wheels.

I'd like to find a good solution to the 370's brake bias, I wonder if this is it?

Believe the rear Brembo brake calipers from a 350Z Nismo will bolt up. This will give you less braking force on the rear tires from what I read.

Putting front calipers on the rear = death.

Cars have bigger calipers in the front than rear for a reason. That reason is brake bias. Mounting front calipers on the rear would cause the rear tires to lock up under heavy braking and instantly induce a spin.

LOL One person mentioned about putting front calipers on the rear in this thread. And we corrected him. And I agree, it's stupid. This thread is about putting the rear calipers from a 350 Nismo with the Brembo calipers on the rear of a 370Z. Ok? There is another thread that the OP wanted to use front calipers on the rear, and we (tried?) to correct him on that too.

seems you could just use the non-sport calipers on the rear and save some headaches, or just add a bias valve (not sure how that works with ABS systems). just spitballin'

Question was about using rear 350Z Brembo calipers (and rotors, if needed) on the rear of base 370Z. Idea of putting front Brembo's on the back never crossed my mind.
I'll try it and see how it goes brake bias wise. Not gonna burst up in flames, that's for sure.
Will update when done.
