I wouldn't say don't do it. Maybe the op is an engineer who designs, tests and builds airplane parts for a living but has 0 idea when it comes to cars. I'm sure someone with above skills (why I mentioned right skills . Could make any part they choose on a car. I wouldn't assume he does or doesn't have the skills to make his own.

Once you figured out the ABS/Brake Balance/Ice Mode Issues Front rotor-ebrake set-up. Go for it. Let me know how it works.
