so update...:

ITS FIXED!!!

So I had new rear tires replaced and still did not fix the issue even though it did get better. I didnt get around to aligning it yet since my guy was busy this week but i did find the bolt that holds the camber arm in the hub area in the passenger side was loose. Loose like the nut was flush with the end of the screw

Thinking about this being loose doesnt make sense in my head how it would have cause such an issue since i have the SPL camber arms and even if the bolt was loose the movement up and down would have been the same and the way the arm is in place does not allow side to side movement.

Regardless of explanations (which i hope someone can chime in) i no longer get that wandering feeling and the rear following the grooves of the road. Its pouring rain right now and can confidently drive at whatever speed without this issue. It feels like the first day i picked it up.

Unfortunately i cannot explain what the issue was exactly but i did 1:replace the tires and 2: tighten the camber arm bolt that was loose.
Still plan on dialing back the camber but in the meantime very happy with the fact that my car is back to normal, i was worried for a minute there.

For you that said oh its just the camber and don't be scared of the rain, haha it was definitely something more.

Thanks for all the feedback, much appreciated and anyone with further questions please ask.

Thanks!

this is what the bolt looked like when i found it. quite loose alright.

like i said cant explain how that would affect the handling so much but it did something alright.

I would definately give the shop that did your original alignment sh:t. How could they miss that with your car on a hoist getting dialed in! Pure laziness.

I'm currently experiencing my Z dancing around at high speeds/worse on 2 lane roads,,,was never an issue till the alignment set my front and rear toe at 0.
i mentioned this earlier to (Rusty) & he told me that i needed some positive toe...i just haven't had time to take it in....drives perfect under 80-but don't push it hard or it will be squirrelly.
Before alignment shop got it,i adjusted my rear camber myself to straighten out the tires more-to make a few passes at the dragstrip.
drove to track and back (120miles) with no issues,,,blasting up to 130,140 at times.
front toe was 0.22L & 0.08R rear was 0.21L & 0.37R a good bit of + toe in rear....their final setting was front 0.01L & 0.04R rear -0.02L & 0.02R
i'm pretty sure the toe is the problem on mine...any inputs are welcome.
BTW,,,,13.1@105mph 1.955 60' base/touring/auto/2011/stock

I'm no suspension guru or track junky,so I won't comment on that, but I like those numbers for your 1/4 mile!

Had to go underneath to see what was up myself;already adjusted rear camber to more positive before....looked at ecentric bolts for toe & broke out tape measurer.......1/4" wider track width in front of rear wheels compared to backside......marked bolts and took photos of timing marks....loosened & adjusted equal amounts on both sides(tad more on l/r) ending result was 1/8" narrower in front of rear wheels compared to previous 1/4" wider.......test run up to 130...smooth as glass & don't have to hold steering wheel through acceleration...not sure how much positive toe i have in rear...but Z feels like it's old self again..

~Z~ still handling well,,,but wanted to ck. the front-
0* toe....not what specs call for,,,again i broke out the tape measurer & ck'd...same width on front & rear of Front tires....toe is 0,,,not - as was in the rear.
i see that specs vary, pending on spec sheet....0.02min 0.05max on one alignment sheet(in degrees) 0.05min 0.12 on another spec sheet (dealership) 0.05min 0.11max on (alldata spec) so definitely calls for positive toe on front.
loosened up adjusters & adjusted tie rod ends 1/6th turn outwards on both sides...now i'm showing about 1/8" front to rear....after test drive...Great! felt as if caster increased-as steering snugged a bit & feels even better at high speed straight line runs.
??? why can't these alignment guys know how to do it properly on a ~Z~ ???

He has a little bit of toe in the front and zero total toe in the rear -- that's fine.

I'm not sure if your issues are related to mine but my rear camber arm bushings were shot and caused my rear to feel like driving on ice.

-0.15 + 0.15 = 0 total toe.

Absolutely fine!
