The only thing that looks promising is MHL 3.0 which will let you mirror your smartphone AND control it completely with your HU's touch screen. Everything else looks halfassed, I really don't understand what these car audio companies are all so happy about supporting 10-20 apps out of millions.

Yep, that's what I keep dreaming of kenwood doing. But they seem to be stuck with all the other major brands on sticking with proprietary software that can run only a few selected apps.
