Gentlemen thanks for the excellent advice. I'm planning on keeping my car long term so I'm going to pick up a pair of the recommended adapters. I found a few tweeters that have the crossover capacitor in place so that will eliminate any further research. Hopefully there enough space width and depth to not have to deal with size restrictions.
Best wishes.

Hey bud, I literally just installed Image Dynamics XS65 components this weekend and they're tweeters are a direct fit. No need for an adapter or anything. Just use the grill and flush mount cone that comes with them. I'm pretty sure you can buy them separate from the component system on their website. They sound F-ing amazing!!! I can send you pictures if you'd like

I would recommend again to just upgrade the full set of component speakers and save yourself from going back in later and upgrading. I also forgot that hertz speakers come with a bracket that is direct line up with the holes. Also you can cut out the old tweeter from its basket and use it to hold your new tweeter.
