Bose Sub-woofer not working

I would start with the obvious.....check your settings on your HU.
pull the sub out of the enclosure, and wire up a different speaker if you have one available, or test with a multimeter for voltage with the system turned on. if you have voltage, the sub is bad. if not, your problem is upstream somewhere.

Thank you for your input. What do you mean by checking the settings in HU? I have a 2009 stock Bose system.

I'm not familiar with the bose head unit, but I'm sure it has seperate bass, and treble controls. make sure your bass setting is not turned all the way down.
Not likely the problem, but always start with what would be the easiest fix.
