Put major emphasis with the front sound stage, so use your best speakers for the front (i.e., components). If you plan to use rear speakers (2-way coax), use those speakers for sound filling (don't overpower the front). It is recommended component sets be driven with a discrete amplifier especially when used with passive crossovers.

Thanks! I have a 60x4 RMS amp to power all six speakers.

What does a discrete amplifier mean?

Better yet what brand or model would you suggest to power the 2 speakers in the doors.

A discrete amplifier has true seperate output transistors for each channel of amplification instead of one large IC chip common to all channels. A discrete amplifier will not only have more power, but you can run low resistant loads of 2 ohms. Virtually all quality outboard amplifiers are discrete. Amplifiers built into head units and power boosters are not discrete. A discrete amplifier will have much higher dynamic headroom resulting in crisper highs and deep tight bass.

Also OEM stereos even the bose in the 370z do not have discrete amplification.

Alpine PDX adn JL Audio HD series are excellent amplifiers. I would suggest a 4 channel so yo can bridge the to rear channels to run a subwoofer.

Adding a good subwoofer will take you to the next level of the audio experience.
