What to know about Bose

If you have the stock nav there is no way of changing out the head unit, You must keep it and ise a LOC to add new amps and speakers.

If you have the bose system with no nav you can swap out the head unit.

You are completely WRONG!!! I plan to do another post when time permits for my setup but here is how to do the conversion from the Nav to the non-Nav setup DIY – NAV System Conversion with working rear defrost

Do that and then you can install an aftermarket head unit or do like me and do a hidden single din unit behind a Workshop Twelve 10.1 dash tablet kit. I have full steering wheel controls, mic, radio, etc with a USB connected and powered tablet.
