Never had problems with them at all. I've used their EQ's, line drivers, crossovers, and center channel processors before for ground up installs but never used an LOC to integrate. I hate noise and is a pain in the *** to fix. Hoping someone can give their testimonial.

Is there anything like a service menu/mode for OEM Bose Nav?

Why did I not register for this forums before buying my car I assumed it would be easy like my 350z...

Anyways I have the Bose with OEM nav... just found out I probably won't be able to get a new HU but that's fine...
I plan on adding my old Sundown 12" sub and my Memphis amp and make it run with the stock radio. Asked the shop nearby if a basic PAC would be fine but they suggested an LC2 by audio control, would this be okay?
Not adding any other speakers just the sub to the stock radio with an LC2.

So I am in the middle of determining what it takes to move from the stock nav unit in my touring model to the non-bose setup. I've already purchased the interior pieces with the cubby. I am having the shop (who is doing perf work on the car) test out the non-nav setup climate controls (three knobs instead of the various buttons from the nav piece) before continuing.

Does anybody happen to know if they are compatible? I tentatively purchased a NaviSkauto Android Headunit for my SUV to test it out and found it to be pleasant enough to want to use in the Z.

Sorry to revive an old thread so any help I can get will help me out. I bought a 2009 with the Bose system and no navi. The previous owner has installed a pioneer double din headset and is using the stock bose speakers. I can only assume having not pulled anything apart that everything is installed properly (the steering wheel controls work and the speaekrs are doing fine). My question is, with the aftermarket head-unit installed, can't I just replace the factory Bose speakers with aftermarket ones by running new speaker wire to them from the Pioneer head unit?

Thanks!

So this may be already posted and I just missed it but here goes nothing:

I have non-nav bose in my car. I replaced the HU with a pioneer NEX model last year, but now I would like to replace the speakers. If I replace the bose amp with a new one and run new wires, that's all I'd need to hook up new speakers, correct?

No, you need to run RCA's from your new head unit to your new amp as well as power wire from your battery to the amp. Then run new speaker wire to all speakers.

If you had previously bought a HTIB and we're looking to upgrade the speakers, would you use the same speaker wire?

No, all of the speaker wires have to be replaced with new ones.
