You mention SPDT, is that for just the parking brake switch? You need either:
1 x DPDT
or
1 X SPST (for speed) and 1 x SPDP (for Parking Brake)

The reason for this is with the speed sensor you are just making or breaking the connection where as with the Parking Brake you are making or redirecting the connection. In my diagram I show using a DPDT switch.

Thanks for your reply Brian, I'm using a DPDT(slider) Please see attached.

I redirected the Parking Brake connection by connecting the Ground wire to the metal next to the Parking Brake lever(please see image No. 3), but it doesn't seem working. Where would be the best place to connect this Ground wire to?
