I don't know what the square plug is for. The parts diagram calls it a 'bumper cover'. There are no tow-hook threads behind it. Just a hole in the styrofoam

I don't know what the square plug is for. The parts diagram calls it a 'bumper cover'. There are no tow-hook threads behind it. Just a hole in the styrofoam so you can see the aluminum bumper beam. Works fine for a camera, but only if the camera diameter is under ~ 3/4 inch. That's where mine is.
