I agree, I wouldn't bother with a crossover device as most head units these days have a fairly nice one built in.

Well. The way I did it since my speakers aren't anything mad powerful is rear speakers you can run your own wire. From the front speakers you connect speaker wire of similar gauge to gray and white wires and run the from the head unit to the amp. Make sure you have a wiring harness on the head unit.
