Default Just got off the phone with Zenclosures

And let me tell you, Mike and Zenclosures showed me possibly the best customer service I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

I placed an order online for a dual 10" enclosure, and after a little more reading (and talking with Big/Matt) decided to go with a single 10" enclosure for my IDQ10V3. So I had to call Zenclosures and change my order. Pain in the arse, right?

Nope.

I called and spoke with Mike, the owner I believe. He asked about what I wanted, what music I liked, and what car I had. He then gave me some advice based on that and a couple options.

I told him I was going with an IDQ10v3 and he instantly told me about the larger mounting diameter of the sub (9.6" instead of the common 9.16"). He also researched, while on the phone, the displacement of the sub and the recommended "audiophile" air space for the sub, which was 1.11 cubic ft. He's going to take a 12" enclosure and adjust the box and mounting diameter specifically for this sub...and still deliver the sub to my house before the end of the week.

Mike spent about 35 minutes answering and asking questions with me. Another line was ringing nearby, yet all of his attention was on me for the duration of the call.

A+++++ service, and I'm sure the quality of the product will be as well. Thanks Mike!

matt- you are too high maintenance. shorten your call from 35min to 3.5min please. stop hoggin up the line.

Mike's a good guy. I have one of his sub boxes in my 350 with two 10" subs. Sounds great!

Just to let you know the z enclosures that I have installed the ID Q subs in all I had to do was trim the ring and they fit fine. I would still recommend you going with ID subs.
