Question Zenclosures More Blindspot?

It sounds like the Zenclosures is the way to go. From the pictures of the installed box, it looks like it rests on top of the silver brace. My question is: How much of the view out the rear will be blocked? As you all know, the 370 has a massive blind spot and is scary to back up!

I was thinking the same thing, I'll prob just add a rear view cam to make up for the added blind spot

Having it installed I can tell you that you can not see it at all. If I look over my shoulders and down it's there, but it doesnt block any of my view. In the rear view I don't even know it's back there. Personally I really think you cant go wrong with this box.

I was thinking of getting the 10" sub box for the square kicker sub. I think it should sound good. Is it a well build box, and does it stay locked in place? I would not want the box to move around at all.

I was wondering the same! Glad it doesn't create a blindspot. Waiting for my 1-12" to come! Don't forget to use the coupon code from the Zenclosure section on this site.

No wiggle in the box at all once it's set in place. The box is kind of built like this

-\___/- A really bad example, but the the -'s that come off the sides are at the top, they extend out to either side of the car and really don't allow the box any room to move.

Thanks Polarity, I'm glad to hear it doesn't move around. It would annoy me if I heard it move around, everytime I went into a turn.

The only sound I have to deal with so far are the following:

1) Since the licence plate holder doesn't have bottom screws it can rattle if the bass hits. Solved this by getting a piece of sticky foam and sticking it to the back of the license plate on both sides, no more rattle.

2) The plastic on the inside of the rear hatch (the part up top that surrounds the rear window) rattles pretty bad even with low bass. I haven't had a chance to get in there yet and look to see what can be done about it. If anyone else has already solved this one I'm open to ideas.

Oh and as for the other question, is it a well built box. While I know little to nothing about box construction I can tell you that it is very sturdy, sealed well, and the carpet used is probably one of the best matches I've seen for a non custom box. It helps the subs produce great sound. So my answer is yes, but like I said I don't really know much about what makes a box better than another (as far as sound goes).

I am just about finished with my install and have a bunch of video collected that I will be posting up in segments. Including a tour of the ZEnclosures shop and a visit with Mike when I picked up my 12" sub box.

Stay tuned..
