How many use a dash-cam?

So from all the reading and researching, it looks like there isn't really anything out there for a "motion detect" camera. There are some with Sensors to detect impact then

There are some with Sensors to detect impact then record, but nothing that will record on movement, plus I guess it is a drain on batteries. I just want to look for something that will capture if I get rear ended in a parking lot or something when I am not around.
