The center stack (Nav, audio controls, climate controls) on the 370Z is almost identical with my new 2009 Murano, and many of the other new Nissan and Infiniti models (G37, Maxima, F35, etc). If you cannot find the 370Z Service Manual, I bet the instructions to remove the center console in service manuals for the Murano/F35/Maxima would be very close to the same for the 370Z.

I know All About Nissan has service manuals to download, but may cost you $10 for a premium membership fee. You might find them on enthusiast sites like nicoclub.com (the Murano service manual is there) or myg37.com.

The trim around the shifter pops off then the leather peice pops off underneath that peice. This will expose four screws to take off the knee nockers. Then once they are off you will see two more screws to take off the cosole. After the console is off the a/c controls have 4 screws to get it off then the radio has another 4 screws. I don't have the nav on mine so if you do it might differ some but this should get you started.

Are you saying: the SILVER PLASTIC trim around the shifter pops off/up, first?

Any chance anyone has pics of any of this?

Yes it pops up pretty easy in fact there are about four clips holding it in place. I will work on some pics and post this weekend.
