I am 6'5" (which I think is the limit for these cars as everyone makes a comment when I get out on how I fit in it) and lowered on Swifts. It's not slammed and you only notice the difference getting in an out the first few times. You have to angle the car for steep grades already if you use a little precaution you will be fine. It makes a big difference in appearance to lower it even if its just an inch so you wont look like a monster truck.
Nothing out of the ordinary with the rest of your mods. As far as which intake its a personal choice. I would go with Takeda because it is near identical and costs $100 less. You don't mention anything about exhaust. If you don't already have one I would add it to the list along with test pipes or high flow cats.

I don't know how to put this but I am kind of a big deal. People know me. I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my house smells of rich mahogany.
But as far as your performance mods go you are correct. It's the law of diminishing returns I'm afraid. But personally I can not stand how quiet the 370 is stock. So I chose to go with HFC's and a CBE first. I am not sure I will add a CAI as I feel it is more of a bling factor under the hood at this point since the cost per hp increase isn't worth it. I may upgrade it down the road but right now I am looking more at a front lip or lip kit and wheels to finish it off. Of course cost is a factor, like you said, it is cheaper to get a CAI than a new exhaust setup. Definately a good choice in an intake with the Takeda Stage 2.
