The M3's are more for places that just get cold weather and very small amounts of snow/ice. Here in Canada we get a lot of ice on the roads (and snow, but RoZy won't pretend she's a snow plow...) so we can't use the M3's reliably. Too little siping to make the tires grip the road. The Graspics are awesome tires and I am very impressed with them....

I'm paying 950 mounted and balanced onto the base 18's which i got through a trade for my rays (plus $700) from the buyer. so basically, i traded my rays, and a brand new set of winter tires winds up costing me 250
