Instead of starting a new thread, I though I'd piggy back onto this one (since the OP's question was answered).
My question has to do with break clearance as well. I understand that offset does not always guarantee Akebono clearance. I understand that it has to do with spoke design and etc. What I was wondering - is there a measurement I can request from a shop or the manufacturer, that will help me check the clearance, without having to put the rim on. I am not able to find a shop that sells the rims I was looking at, so they need to be ordered on line. It would be great if there was a way to measure if the wheels would fit without actually having a the wheel on hand. |
