Wish I could, but I want to get the Amuse kit. I want to be able to get into the underground parking lot at work. Right now I have 1 3/4' to spare if I go in under an angle. I will loose 0.5' with the kit, that does not leave much lowering space.

i still think you're going to like the nismo wheels better though... those cv2, rohana, etc they are HEAVY for a sports car.

i would stick with your stock bumper, lower it, and get the CV2's. that would look better than amuse body kit, not lowered, and wheel gap. you have to commit to a style, can't just half arse it hoping it will look okay. especially since you are going for DRESSUP.

It's kind off funny, but to my eye coming of the Celica, the 370 wheel gap looks very small.

yah, the Z's gap in stock form (at least looking at the 19's) is even with the sidewall so it's not pronounced. as long as you run 19's with adequate sidewall height and conservative offsets, it would not look weird.

if you introduce 20's with shorter sidewall, then the gap will be more noticable even if you ran conservative offset.

especially when you introduce an agressive bumper like the amuse to the mix, you have to commit to that theme which will basically "require" you to lower your ride... otherwise your bumper/wheel will look out of place and your car's theme will be unfocused. would look better stock.

The measurement you are actually looking for (if I am not completely off base) Is the disk type. I know higher end companies will have different disk types for the same kind of wheel therefore allowing clearance for different brake sizes. With Vossen you should be able to simply call the manufacturer and ask about the offset and the car and they should have a chart with all of the measurements they can cross reference.

yah, some do note that in their description, but it's really the spoke design that determines whether it clears the caliper or not, so unless the manufacturer test fitted on the car it's hard to tell.

i dont know about the least drop, but the swifts are a decent drop and appears to match the dampers very well.

i run swifts on my dd with stock dampers. for the first time these lowering springs actually matched the stock damp rate very well. no undulations, no floaty feel.

with other lowerings ive tried on various cars (eibach, neuspeed, h&r, tein, tanabe, etc) they dont match very well to the stock damp rates and required aftermarket adjustable dampers.

ofcourse you can always get koni yellows and set it up with your swifts for an even more refined ride to your preference, but for dressup probably not needed.

Brembos are alot smaller size caliper than the Akebono so you want to be sure
