Yeah. What's confusing? If your doing 285 tires there's NO need to use a 10" or 10.5" wheel. There's NO need to go above a 9.5" when a 9.5" wheel will be perfect. Not only is there no need, you shouldn't.

Correct. A 10.5" wheel is to much for a 285 tire in my book. Again correct. You shouldn't go above a 9.5" wheel if you're using a 285.

Just wanna say, one thing everybody is forgetting here...stretchness of the tire is a function of both width AND sidewall height. 275/40 on a 10.5 wheel is less stretched than 275/35 on the same wheel.

so Nissan is stupid for running a 285/35 on the rear nismo rims?

my nismo didnt come with a -2 degree rear camber. it was -1.4/-1.6 from the factory (AFTER A 1" DROP IM -2)


where are you getting your info? the same tire book?
