Test fit Enkei RPF1 in 18s :(

Was looking into the RPF1 for a track setup. Confused by the original post slightly, wouldn't a 18x9.5 +38 with a 15mm spacer make this basically a 18x9.5 +23 wheel?

It looked to far for my comfort level. I didn't try the wheel with tires though. Maybe it would have worked, but the side of the car probably would have been peppered with rock chips from the stuff that R compunds throw out.

Yeah you make a good point. Do you know if 10mm spacers would have worked? I wonder if the new Enkei PF01 will fit.

I don't remember all of the test fitting at the time, but I don't think that I thought 10 would work at the time, or maybe I just had 15s on hand. I really cant remember.

Somewhere in these forums, I have seen a poster saying the 18" Enkei RPF-1 in nine or 10" fit well on his Sport Package 370Z. I'm not criticizing Mike--he is only reporting his actual, hands-on experience. But I am fairly certain I have read this here. I don't know if we have completely ruled out that wheel yet. It would be great if it fit: the 18X9.5 RPF weighs only 17.4 pounds (special version, but it's available). Weight is the enemy.
