Why 18" rims? Most slicks are designed for 15" or 17" rims?

Try to find a 17 or less that wraps around the stock sport package brakes...

I don't think that will ever happen. Some 18" wheels don't even fit.

Not true any longer, all the GT3 slcik tyres are now 18" - Pirelli, Dunlop, Michelin, even Hankook are making soft, medium and hard in 18". You would need to purchase from a speciality motorsport tyre company I guess, as these are full race slicks, and not "R-Spec stickies like R888, A048, A050, RE55S, DZ03G etc

For instance, my supplier can do:

RCZ, do you remember what the offsets were on the RPF-1s that "fit great"? I want to use these on my car. Also, do you remember the width of the rims?

I have long thought this wheel was one of the best bargains for high-performance applications, but others give conflicting advice. Just tried on the 18x9.5 +38 and it fits on the front over the *base* brakes.

Heh, just about anything is going to fit over those.
