Anyways being a full time student and worker working for this car I really want to make moves on my car and I got a good deal for some varrstoen te37 reps with tires. And that's what I can afford for a good set of wheels to work my way to get how I want my car to look like.

Look, a lot of people hate on replicas, IMO, do whatever makes you happy, I wouldn't track on replicas though

^^ I agree on what DEpointfiveO says about the rep wheels but if you're not tracking and that's what you can do for now, why not. You will be happy with it and you can always sell down the road when you're ready for a change. I say go for it. during the Holidays, they were selling the TE37 reps for 900 out the door. I was so tempted until reality set in.

Personally, I'm running on my stock Rays until I can decide on what wheels I want and what I can afford.

I'm doing the ES5s on my Z when I get it. Spent enough on mods on my Camaro. I love the actual BBS wheels they copied but I am not to drop a 5k on wheels for a used 25k car that's my DD. Get what you want and forget what people say.

My buddy has a set of the Varrstoen TE37 replicas on his 350z that he painted white and they look amazing. A lot of people don't even realize that they are replicas cause the white paint throws them off so much in amazement lol.

Lol at haters... Replics are a great way to spice up your Z without dropping the required 5K+ on show quality wheels... That being said, My daily driver looks like it does now because I took that extra $$$ and put it towards my other mods... Haters gunna Hate.

I dont know who came on here and said "OMG these replica wheels are such garbage that you cant drive your car on them."

That entirly not true. I have been weekend drifting on these reps and hauling a$$ and driving like I stole it for 2 years now.... ZERO PROBLEMS.

Like I previously said, Haters gunna hate cus there Authentic TE37's cost 3+ times more... Daily driving and the occassional messing around these will be just fine.

BTW, VERY FEW actually drift/track 5K wheels anyways...

This is all accurate. I did some more asking around myself and alot of miata guys all track/drift with reps and not the real deal. Personally I dont blame them. I think I may just pull the trigger on those black chrome 2.2.2's that just came out.

I agree completely, I honestly think the "fear" of replicas comes from pics on the Internet of broken wheels... They just don't tell you that the guy hit a curb at 85MPH, and ANY wheel would break, yeah, real ones would bend, but bent to hell vs broken is the same to me

Neither will roll when its said and done. However, the reps you can buy a whole new set for what it would cost to re-buy that 1 real rim.

Just take my advice, unless your going to legit car shows trying to win awards and get reactions outta people there is really no reason to NOT buy reps... Most of those situations where there is a busted wheel and everybody is freaking out is just bashing cus there stuff got messed up and its gunna cost serious $$$ to replace of fix.

Think...Out of those Dozens of wheels which failed, usually because of retarded circumstances; how many thousands of sets of the same wheel work without fail....for years...

Ill rock replicas just so I can make fun of the guys who have the real thing.Escpecially when my car looks better than theirs :P
