Tires do all kinds of weird crap on different surfaces when they are wet or cold, you can really see this on 4x4's when you turn on the front wheel drive unit and the tires hit dry pavement, it often fels like your front wheels are being ripped off.
As long as your tires and rims are in good shape then don't worry about it. Other issue is that if you changed the width of the rims on the tires, you could be scrapping some part of the suspension or steering mechanism when the car is under a lot of force or steering, just take the car to a major shop and have the do a free safety check, looking for scrapping or worn metal surfaces, Pep Boys does it for free.
