I personally like the Hankook Venus Evo over the T1R. I had the T1S and T1R, and the R is definitely an improvement. As others mentioned, grip isn't the best.

I personally like the Hankook Venus Evo over the T1R. I had the T1S and T1R, and the R is definitely an improvement. As others mentioned, grip isn't the best. I didn't like the sidewalls either as it was a bit on the soft side. The Hankook sidewalls are also a bit soft so I finally replaced them with Continental DWs. So far so good for the money.
