Two tone stock sport wheels.... whatcha' think?

So I had my wheels re-sprayed this fall. The original re-spray (due to a dealer scratch) had not been left to cure long enough before they mounted the rubber, so the wheel shop re-sprayed them all for me again.

This time I had them mask off the barrels, spray the hyper silver on the front and leave the barrels a nice gloss black. The hyper silver is a four step process that requires a gloss black, then a clear, then the silver and then the final clear... A bit of masking and they came out pretty good I think!

It's minus 20 here today so they are going to stay dirty till the spring when it's warm enough to wash them up. I plan on colouring the weights with a felt marker too before they go on the car....

Just seems like it doesn't really do much since its the inside of the wheel you barely see?

The job looks good and clean, but not sure if from the outside the appearance will change.

thats as conservative as you could go with two tone...looks like a stock rim still. Nothing 3-6 months of breakdust couldnt replicate

looks great! and the insides won't look dirty if you don't clean them regularly!

The subtle look was what I was going for. I wanted the wheels to look mostly stock, but have that subtle difference for car shows.

Wouldn't the black show dirt more? At least it sure does on the body!

Is the powder coating more/less sticky or I guess "dirt trapping" than the OEM coating? If it's less dirt clinging then I'm all for it.
