Default Scratched Rim

I was in a drive-thru and scratched up the outer lip of my Work GNOSIS GS2 rim.......Is this something I could have repaired or am I going to have to buy a new rim? I was looking online and the process seems pretty in depth to do myself and am afraid I will end up ruining the rim more than fixing it.

Just take it to get repaired. It won't take long and I think had it done on a rim once that had some nasty road rash and it was only about 150 or so I believe. They can easily fix it.

That's about the price I heard they charge in NJ as well. They may have a service that will come to your place or you can stop by a local dealership.

Post a pic to see the damage if you can. Depending how bad the damage is and how anal you are. If minor and if a polished lip put a super fine grit of sand paper to smooth it out or a dermal . If really bad, colored or deep go get it repaired or buy a new rim. I feel your pain Works are expensive.

Yeah, that's easily repairable. Just take it to a local wheel repair shop. Here in Florida, they're a dime a dozen. I was able to take my 3 piece wheel and have the outer lip removed, dechromed and high polish for $140 and they fixed all the rash and curb marks.
