Thanks for posting that, geddy. Finally, someone is willing to say the emperor has no clothes!

The use of spacers is a perfect case of form over function. Even good spacers (good = properly designed, properly manufactured, and properly installed) are dangerous in extreme situations and are no substitute for an engineered solution. Once you've seen a cracked or deformed spacer, you'll decide (hopefully!) that the look just ain't worth the risk.

Parts fail. It happens. The idea that because you've seen a cracked spacer that all spacers must be inherently dangerous is asinine. Spend a few minutes on google images taking a look at cracked Volks. There are tons of photos of the stock 350z and 370z wheels cracked too. What do you suggest we do? Park?
