I am unclear as to why you want to go wider. The 275 mm stock size is a perfect fit for the rear sport wheels.

If it isn't your DD do whatever you want and whatever look you are trying to achieve. However if it is your DD your mpg's will suffer...so how much is it worth to you to have that look?

As far as what to throw up front with 305 out back. Some are running 255 in front with 305's. You could go up to 275 in front as I have heard it being done...and from what I recall without rubbing. But that seems extremely wide in the front not to rub.
