Default 40th Anni wheels stolen this morning...

Well I woke up to the awesome view of my 2010 40th Anniversary Z sitting on 4 bricks. Does anyone know if Nissan still makes replacement Rays for the 40th model and how much it's going to cost me(insurance) to replace them?

Really sucks that I put on 4 new tires recently as well and will probably just get the lame stock ones back.

Oh crap, sorry to hear that man. Were you parked on the street or in your driveway?

I've heard they don't make replacement Rays, so you might need to check the FS section for when people unload a set, but I'm not 100% on that

My friend went thru the same problem with the regular rays he had state farm ins, the thing is that they tried to give him some crapy wheels or after market. Reason why they didn't want to pay for the cost of the rays. So pay your dec and make sure they give you the exact wheels your car came with. My friends where the nismos so it came out to be abt 7 grand tires and rims from Nissan.

The car was parked right in front of my house while I was asleep. I'm hoping Nissan can replace them, as I would be insanely upset if I can't get the same rims back. F'ing thieves suck.

Sucks Man. Sounds like don't intend to get aftermarket wheels at any point and would prefer getting the 40th Ray's back on the car. Hope Nissan offers them.

If you were interested in aftermarket wheels I would get a written qoute from Nissan on factory Ray's with factory Potenza's fully installed including any labor. I would provide this to the insurance company and have them cut you a check for the replacement. Then take that check and purchase wheels of your choosing. The factory cost of the 40th Ray's will likely be higher than most high end aftermarket wheels.

Sorry for what happened to your 40th.

Call your ins agent / company and file a claim. It will fall under comprehensive claim which WILL NOT affect your insurance premium. Get an estimate from Nissan for a brand new set of 40th Ray with a set of new tires balanced & installed. Assuming you have Comprehensive coverage on your policy, your ins co should give you a check for the amount of the total estimate minus your deductible. Or the ins co could pay the dealer directly minus your deductible.

Thanks, guys. I'm going to go to my local Nissan dealership tomorrow for the estimate. Waiting on Progressive to give me a call back, which will most likely be tomorrow. For now, my poor Z is just sitting on bricks. Blech!

Rotors look good and 3 of the bricks are sitting on the frame safely. One of them is pushing up on the side skirt plastic and that will probably be some minor damage once I get it up. To be honest, I'm not quite sure the safest way to lift it up now. I'm guessing from the front or back? I usually jack it up from the side and put on jackstands when I change my oil, but lifting it up sideways now will probably cause it to slide off those bricks.

Any suggestions?

I found out last night that the Wheel lock key that came with my 370 Nismo, fits two of my friends 370z's wheel locks.

That's really assuring to know.
