Remove SSR Center Cap

Hey does anyone know how to remove the center cap of a ssr wheels?

serious? so is it supposed to be push from behind or to turn it around to get it off?

on mine there are clips i push out using a flathead screw driver from behind. do it carefully as those plastic clips can break.

mine looks like this! and i tried twisting it around or turning it but its very tight i dunno if im doing it right.

i have the super low (the one on the left, no clips, just rubber seal). takes a swift/direct blow to pop it off.

You should lay down your wheel upside down on a towel or something soft. Then take a piece of wood and place it behind the center cap, and hammer the wood.

That's how I got mine out. But remember to have something soft to catch the caps. You can also hold the tire upright instead of placing the face of the wheel on the ground. This is probably a better way to keep your wheels scratch free.

How do you install the caps? Slide them in at an angle?

i tried the hammer from behind by nothing works

i got it like that so I donnt know how to get it in or out.

hummm... maybe mallet might be better? not sure. the caps shown above are different from the werfen ones i have.

You have to hit it hard enough. It's going to take several hits. It's only held in with friction. You might try hitting it at 12, 3, 6, 12 again, in a circular motion.

Mallot or hammer is fine. But you're supposed to place a long narrow piece of wood between the center cap and hammer.

Put some saliva around the rubber seal and angle it in and press it in with your fingers.
