my car is very low, I still DD the car but get a few scrapes here and there you can see it on the bumper and also have a few scrapes but nothing major. Car will be raised about 1/2", this car doesnt not like being dumped, I broke a rear camber arm that way on full compression.

Sorry MJB, I know you pm'd me a few weeks back about getting pics for you on my setup. 255/45/18 on front and 27/40/18 on the rears.

Sorry for the blue tint on these, edited by a friend

Would love to see a set of XD9 on a 370! That's what I was thinking of doing, but when I asked the question of whether they'd clear the Akebono brakes, all I got was "they'd look too small get 19s".

I was just browsing around on Tirerack, and RE-11's now come in 275/40/18. What do you guys think? 245/45 and 275/40 for a 9.5/10.5 wheel setup.

It would work fine. I thought about going that route originally but decided to go another route. I actually just placed my order last night for my new set of BFGoodrich Rivals in a 275/35/18 and a 295/35/18. Shorter then OEM but I'm ok with that. Running same sizing as you on wheels of course. My current set up is a 255/45 and a 275/40 posted above.

Would going shorter in overall wheel/tire diameter with stock gearing cause slower acceleration or anything? I want to go with a 40/35 profile for front and rear but with the Nismo body kit, the car is just too dang low, unless I raise my coilovers and then I would have ugly wheel gap.

Shorter tires actually cause shorter gearing which in turn would have QUICKER acceleration. Not too mention depending on the tires, it is also a bit lighter so less rotational mass can also help increase acceleration also. Is it going to be super significant? No but I've already got 4.08 gears installed and now I'll have shorter tires also lol. I'm fine with wheel gap. Won't be massive but there will be some cause function > form

What would you rather have for track duty??

18x9 +20 front, 18x10.5 +15 rear with 265/40, 295/35

Or

18x9 +20 front, 18x10.5 +15 rear with 275/40, 295/35

Or

18x9.5 +23 front, 18x10.5 +15 rear with 275/40, 295/35

What are the specs on your wheels? I've thought about going with a 245/45 for the fronts when I get my 18's put on, but it just looks like such a massive tire.. not sure how I feel about the look.
