Wheel Offset Discussion Thread... How far can we go?

The offset's a tad aggressive for stock height. Something close to 19x9.5 +32 and 19x11 +22 in terms of offset. The Nismo has 19x10.5 rear wheels with 285/35R19 size tires.

Something close to 19x9.5 +32 and 19x11 +22 in terms of offset. The Nismo has 19x10.5 rear wheels with 285/35R19 size tires. If you go with a 11" wheel, you should find a 285 to 305 tire with the appropriate overall diameter. For the front, find a 255 to 275 tire to better match with the rears (to reduce the size differential between the front and rear...so that it doesn't add understeer).

They will fit... You may want to run a spacer in the rear to match the fronts a little bit more.

Thanks very much for your time dude. I was a bit worried as I have read a view threads and it was saying that you needed +30 etc for the offset.

So + 17 at fronts and +18 at rears are all good. Your 370z looks great.... I love your wheels mate

FRONT-
Flush for the 370z would be roughly like a 9.5 +22
aggressive would be 9.5 +12

Rear
Flush for the 370z rear 10.5+12
Aggressive would be 10.5 +0

Above are just rough widths and offsets that you can vary slightly i put a link below to an offset calculator so you can punch in your before offset and widths and then the new offsets and it will tell you if it will extend or sink in and XX amount of millimeters. ENJOY

Wheel Offset Calculator

Tires on a 9 inch width you could run a 255/35/19 or 265/35/19 (which i believe keeps the same diameter as the stock tire
Tires on a 10.5 inch width you could run a 285/35/19 or a 305/30/19 (depends on if you want wide or really wide)

Hey guys I think I am way confused on offsets. I am looking at Volk GT30
20x9.5 +23 in the front and 20x10+24 in the rear. Will this work?

Yes those will actually not be overly aggressive either. The front will be close to flush and the rear will be sunk in slightly.

Flush would be 9.5 +15 to +22
Flush for rear would be 10.5 +12 to +0

Quick tidbit of info. The lower the number the more it will poke out. If it goes into the negatives it will become an even more aggressive offset. It also has to do with the width for instance a

10.5 width +0 offset would be equivelent to an 11 width +6 offset.

Does that help at all? if so give me some REP

Sweet that's what I was thinking but the more I read this thread the less confident I got.
