Why would you do this to spacers?

stop using that spacer immediately if you're on stock wheels!! your wheels are designed to use the center lip and the lugs to keep it in place. your studs can break off.

for your aftermarket wheels that are 99.99999% lug centric, you can use that spacer + stud set. to answer your question, chances are some honda kid bought it for his 56mm center bore honda and would not fit his wheels correctly (ours is 66mm) so machined it off.
