Specific wheel and spacer question.

I have a set of tsw nurbugrings on my car. They rears are 19x10.5 with +27 offset. I tried installing a set of 5mm spacers this am at my local shop. They said I did not have enough stud to put them on and would also lose my hub centric ring. Does this sound odd to anyone? I thought 5pm would be no problem.

You should have 7 or 8 full turns on the threads for the lug nuts to engage and fasten properly. You should go with a H&R (DRS) setup...that's the ones with replacement (longer) studs. H&R's are also hub centric. You can easily go with a 15 mm setup.

I agree. But I'd like to add that I have after market lugs (MXP) and the instructions for these in particular lugs said to mach sure there's at least 15 turns. Which I have more than that. It might just be for my particular lugs. But that also may be playing it super safe.

7-8 turns sounds about right. Thats wat I use. Lugs are usually grade5?
