A 5mm spacer would give more breathing room if you run a same size tire with a more flexible sidewall. 11) Looks pretty good, offsets are just about perfect and would sit nice and flush if you're lowered (coilovers are in the plans for me;)) As you can imagine, these tires are loud, an agressive tread and stiff as hell sidewalls that transmit a lot of road noise...but they are quite sticky. 12) From what I could find out, these are among the lightest wheels for the size, there are lighter rims but not more than 2-3 lbs of savings can be found in the wheel. The fronts weigh in ~25lbs and the rears ~27lbs based what I found in the GT-R forums, which is comparable to a Volk G2. Mounting a non-runflat is the obvious solution here. Also, contrary to 2009-2011, the 2012 GT-R owner's manual mentions that tires can be remounted to these wheels if they are inspected, presumably by a mechanic familiar with the GT-R's knurled wheel lips. Recently had these wheels off the car so I weighed them on a scale, came in at ~60lbs for the front wheel/tire and ~65lbs for the rears. |
