[Official] 370z wheel fitment guide (pics/specs) only
the 370z can fit many many wheels and there are many different sizes of wheels to be fitted. i want to dedicate just one thread that will eliminate all the "will it fit my z" or "what color wheels should i get" or similar questions and have this thread help out other forum members. its also kinda hard searching 1000000000x100 wheel threads and would just make everything easier for someone that needs ideas or have any questions. Every other forum has one of these threads so i think we need one of these threads. keep the random comments out and only have pics and specs! Can we get this Sticky? Please include lots of details. If it is stock, state that it is stock.
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PM THE OWNER! DO NOT POST YOUR QUESTIONS HERE! If you are posting pics for someone else, please state so. Requirements: 1) A Picture or a link must be posted (Please include 1-3 pics not a million pics) 2) Name of the Rim, (Brand, type, color) 3) Rim Size (Height X Width + Offset) 4) Name of the tire (Brand, type) 5) Tire size (Width/Profile/Rim) 6) Spring/Coilover Set up (include height drop or stock, include any other specs) 7) Camber settings 8) Fenders (Rolled, trim, stock, ect) (include details, major rolling required?) 9) Comments before modifing the car to make the rims fit (Rubbing issues, clearance? Lock to lock?) 10) Comments after modifications done to the car (Does if fit now after rolling fenders, camber adujustments? Lock to lock?) 11) Additional comments (how does it look? aggressive? Flush? recommendation?) 12) wheel and/or tire wieght ps. ill rep you if you add your pix and describe your setup |

I guess i just saw this and had to post some too LOL:p
Coil over or springs make a big different in how crazy you can go with the offset and how wide of a tire or wheels. And do you want to run 275-30-20+285-30-20? 255-35-20+305-30-20? or 255-30-20+305-25-20! wheels size 20x9.5+20x12? 20x9.5+20x11? 20x10+20x11 http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...enaciSprit.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...tget94/SP1.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...IMG_7924-1.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3..._370zfront.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3.../sema09php.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3..._1934777_n.jpg |

You guys have some really nice set ups. Here is what I am running, no issues with this set up.
TIRES: Brand: HandKook Model, VENTUS V12, Fronts 255/35/19 Rears 305/30/19 WHEELS: Brand: MRR WHEELS Model: GT-5 Rim Width: 19x9.5 (Rear) Rim Width: 19x8.5 (Front) Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 Rim Offset: 35mm (Rear), Lip Depth: 3 inches Rim Offset: 45mm (Front) , Lip Depth: 2 Inches Rim Structure: One Piece Factory Stud Thread: M12 x 1.25 SPACERS: Brand: H&R Fronts: No spacers Rears: 20mm installed (longer studs installed) SPRINGS: Brand: TEIN Front lowered by: 0.9 inches Rears lowered by: 0.7 inches ALIGNEMENT: Front stock Camber and Toe: Left at factory settings. Rear stock Camber: Reduced negative camber towards neutral (flat) position. After the springs were installed it increased the negative camber. A 5mm spacer would give more breathing room if you run a same size tire with a more flexible sidewall. 11) Looks pretty good, offsets are just about perfect and would sit nice and flush if you're lowered (coilovers are in the plans for me;)) As you can imagine, these tires are loud, an agressive tread and stiff as hell sidewalls that transmit a lot of road noise...but they are quite sticky. 12) From what I could find out, these are among the lightest wheels for the size, there are lighter rims but not more than 2-3 lbs of savings can be found in the wheel. The fronts weigh in ~25lbs and the rears ~27lbs based what I found in the GT-R forums, which is comparable to a Volk G2. Mounting a non-runflat is the obvious solution here. Also, contrary to 2009-2011, the 2012 GT-R owner's manual mentions that tires can be remounted to these wheels if they are inspected, presumably by a mechanic familiar with the GT-R's knurled wheel lips. Recently had these wheels off the car so I weighed them on a scale, came in at ~60lbs for the front wheel/tire and ~65lbs for the rears. |
