275 front tires - mixed opinions

Roll your front fenders. Trim the front fender liner. Relocate the bumper tab to the spot above it. Problem solved.

Hey guys, ok so i have 275/35/20 tires in the front and 315/35/20 in the rear. No spacers. I put them on for a few months before winter and now i have them off til the spring. But while they were on i noticed a slight rub in the front tires whenever i hit a bump. Not sure how to fix it. Spacers would look weird cuz they're already out a tad farther than the rear. And i can't bump out the rear cuz it rubs on the outside if i do.... Suggestions please??

or go down to a 275/30/20. Shorter tire gives you a little more clearance under full compression but narrower is the better choice and guaranteed fix.

Would i be able to fit a narrower tire on the 10.5 rim? Would that fix it?

a 255/35 would be a very small stretch to the point you would barely be able to notice. Not only that but you would get a little more clearance from the slight stretch too. A 265 will fit with no stretch at all but without pics, its hard to say how much more clearance you need to fit.

ur offset is fine. ur tire size is wrong.

should be 275 30 29. not 35. so ur tire is too tall.

I'm resurrecting this old dinosaur

I have 19x11 +13 and 19x10 +30 wheels heading my way and am eyeing tires. Like Phunk, I'm eyeing 275/35/19 and 305/30/19. I'll be installing them with Swifts on my Nismo. I know I'll be close to rubbing running a 275, does anyone have experience running these offsets on Swifts?

These offsets are similar to Nismo wheels running 15mm spacers.

For the track I've run the OEM rear Rays (19x10 +30) with a Toyo R888 295/30r19 without rubbing. -2.8 camber, about an inch and a quarter lowered on BC coils. No rubbing and no fender modifications.

Thanks guys! help me out. bought 2 rear enkei wheels (base trim) and slapping 275/35 all corners. There is so much debate on tire brand so i will continue to educate myself till i know what i want out of the tire.

+30 with the fronts. It's a 19x10. Same offset as the stock rear sport wheels.
