So I have in mind the following setup:
Front:265/35R19
Read: 305/30R19

Mounted with stock Nismo rims (13).

Looking to do about a track day a month, and DD.

This week I bought (on sale from TireRack) 4 RE11's and had them installed today. They replaced set of Yokohama Advan Sports with 23,000 street miles. MUCH quieter than the Yokohama tires! I'm a happy camper.

Should have gone with a square setup for track.

Thats the set up I now have with the RE-11's (but on 19x10 and 19x11 wheels) love it

I had 275 up front for awhile.

Default RE11s wear

14k miles still about 50% tread left however there must be a graduated compound because my traction is GONE. Stab the throttle at 10 mph and they spin like crazy! Looks impressive to other drivers but not good for performance.

FYI...I just scooped up a full set of these off of tirerack for $1100 shipped! 245/40 and 285/35R19. These are the newer 200 tread wear version. Can't wait to get them mounted after I milk a few thousand more miles out of the stock RE050As.

Can someone explain why I was only able to get 6000 miles on the rear RE-11s on my Z32TT? No track time, no burnouts, completely even wear. Nice grip and handling but almost less than half the tread life of any other tire I ran.

I have roughly 10,000 casual miles on them and my car was hydroplaning everywhere during the recent rainy season. It scared the crap out of my gf and I had to get off the freeway and take the local streets. I just thought I'd share.

I've had mine for about 10k. Its a very good tire when fresh but they lose some grip and get louder as they wear. Not a bad tire overall but they are a little over hyped here. I'll likely try the ADVAN's when this set is retired.
