Sport Package Caliper Clearance

My Volks GT30's have only 7mm clearance on the front between the wheel and caliper. Very close.... but if you can't trust Volks, who can you trust?

You need to read the fine print on their warranty.

They will not cover caliper damage due to fitment ..... so if a rock finds it way between your caliper and rim ...... no warranty

If a rock finds its way between that caliper and rim, all I can say is your luck needs to change, maybe see a buddha.

WTF? The distance is between the caliper and the wheel. 7mm. No issues. No problems. Just told everyone what it was. I really don't think a "rock" or anything else for that matter will "find" its way between the two. Just look at where the caliper is mounted (height wise). The space is on the outside edge of the caliper and the spokes of the wheel (inside edge). My car is not an off-roader.

WOW!!

Relax man, your post wasn't even on topic. It's the wrong measurement.

I believe we're talking the distance between the hub and caliper. Should be the same for everyone with sport package brakes, he just needs verification.

I'll check when I get home.
