Thanks for the reply. I am with you on the offset calculation. It's my annotation that was probably confusing. The wheel comes in a +25 and I would add a 10mm (maybe 15mm) spacer to bring it to +15 (+10 if I go 15mm).

What would have to change to make the 285 turn in and not wander? Some increased caster and toe out in the front seem like the theoretical answer. Is that what you are thinking here? I would be open to any option that didn't leave me replacing a tire that has 8/32 on the outer edge and 0/32 on the inner. In other words a bit of inner wear would be acceptable in my book.

Note: I am stuck on 285 due to the Michelin sizes. The next option down is the 265/35. Would that be better or would it create an imbalance in the car's handling; primarily thinking about understeer.

I have base with 18 inch wheels. I called discount tires and the guy said I need to keep the standard 225 on the front because of clearance, but If I wanted I could put the larger 285 on the back. Can that be done or should I just go with the matching set of 225 front and 245 on the back? Can anyone provide me with good info. Pilot super sport tires.

Can someone answer this for me? I've got the 19" Rays ( stock tires on all corners ) with 20mm spacers on all 4 corners. The front tires are worn down pretty good, & I wanted to move the entire back setup ( wheels & tires ) to the front & then put 305's on the back. ( the back wheels & tires @ 275/35/R19 would become the fronts ), and I would put new tires on the front wheels & mount them on back. Is this possible? Can I still use the spacers? Just don't want to waste the newer 275s that are on the back, I'd rather move em to the front & go wide in the back. Any help is appreciated. Thx ( or just keep the wheels where they are and just swap tires ( back to front, and put 305s on the back wheels )

The offsets and widths are different between the front and rear wheels. The best advice would be to leave the wheels where they are and just move the tires around (rear tires to the front and buy new rears).

Have a question. Looking at either a 19x10.5 +22 or a 18x10.5 +12 up front. I know a 285/35/18 will fit up front on the 18. Will a 285/35/19 fit on the 19 without major modifications? Stock ride height and looking for new wheels for double duty track and street.

Not here completely clueless, but this is the first time im trying to get a pretty aggressive setup happening.
Looking at getting the work CR 2P. After much reading and adjustments and measuring, ive come to a conclusion of:
19/10/+15 fronts R disk
19/11/0 rear A disk
Car will be lowered on ohlin road and track coils by the time they are put on, along with a camber kit for front and rear which i am undecided on, but heard spc was pretty good. Anyone WITH EXPERIENCE let me know if ill have any issues on the front.
For the tires, im fitting r88r 275 fronts and 305 rears. ty

On H&R springs with front and rear camber arms.
Wheels I'm looking to do:
-19x10 +30 front 275/35/19
-19x12 +28 rear 325/30/19

I'm wanting a pretty flush setup with close to stock camber, should I be ok with these wheel specs?

I ran a set-up close to that. That was perfect at stock height.
Front 19x9.5 +25, 275/35-19
Rear 19x12 +28, 325/30-19

Now I have 345/30-19 on my 19x12 +25, which poke about 3/8" with camber set at -1.75. I'm going to reset my camber to -1.5 for the track. It's going to poke even more.

Ok cool. Then I should be really safe with the offsets I was thinking? Should be just flush or would it be set inside the wheel well a little bit? If so then maybe I need to lower the offset a tad.

Yeah it's barely noticeable of a difference. That's about how mine sits now with stock sport wheel and 25mm spacer and 305 tire. So I think I'm safe with my offsets

It's time to buy my first set of fronts with 34,000 miles on the car. I want to go with 275/35r 19's on my front with stock Nismo wheels/no spacers. The next tire change on the back I will be going with 305's for the rear on the stock Nismo wheels/no spacers. Any fitment issues?
