Wheel size/offset?

I know there’s a lot of threads on this and I know about the wheel fitment calculator and all that but I need an answer for my exact situation, i

Default Wheel size/offset?

I know there’s a lot of threads on this and I know about the wheel fitment calculator and all that but I need an answer for my exact situation, i have a 2013 370 base model, so that’s
front - 225/50/18, 18x8 +43 offset
Rear - 245/45/18, 18x9 +15 offset
Correct?
So, I have 1.5 inch spacers in the back and 1.25 inch in the front, I’m wanting to go up to 245/40/18 in the front and 275/45/18 in the back and also wanting some concave aftermarket wheels. Im not exactly sure how the whole offset thing works and how the spacers affect it, what should I be looking for in a wheel in terms of width and offset for it to look right and not throw everything off?

I just installed forgestar f-14's on my black 2018 base model. Fronts are 18x9 with +25 offset and backs are 18x10 with +15 offset. Tires are 245/45/18 front and 275/40/18 rear. I am not using any spacers and am very pleased with the fit. I'm sorry that I cannot show a photo, but I do not own a cell phone or a camera. The fit is very close to, but not quite flush and I could not be more pleased. Stance is exactly how I hoped it would look. Went with polished copper finish and it looks amazing with the magnetic black paint. Purchased from "get your wheels" and the guys there are very professional and quite helpful. I was worried about the wheels surviving the shipping from California to Pennsylvania, but the wheels were packed extremely well. Let me know if you have any questions.

if you have a 40 offset, you will have an effective offset of approximately 15mm with a 1in spacer.

1 in = 25mm (approx)

40mm - 25mm = 15mm

It all depends on the look youre trying to achieve. In most cases id say no.

That is going to require research on your part. Concavity is dependent on wheel design. Go through the wheel fitment threads, find something you like and mimic it.

First, 90% of the setups on those threads are not using spacers. With a properly sized wheel/tire setup they are unnecessary.

Second, if you're going for a "flush, concave look" the stock wheels aren't going to cut it regardless of how much you space them out. You'll only have it flush, at best. Also, I'm not sure why you're asking how the spacers are going to affect the offset. They will do the same thing on any setup you use similar to what they are doing on your current setup: lower it. However, if you did not know that (raising vs lowering the offset) then my apologies and now you know.

Finally, when you say "wheel wells filled with tire" do you mean you want a meaty tire setup, or do you want the tires to be stretched? Also, are you trying to stay with 18s or go up in size to a 19 or 20 (or some combination)? Do you want a staggered front/rear setup or do you plan to run a square setup? I do know that a 245/275 tire setup is pretty weak for these vehicles and isn't really going to fill out the wheel wells unless you're running an aggressive offset wheel.

By "wheels dip inwards" I'm going to assume you mean having negative camber? This has to do with suspension setup. You didn't mention if your car is lowered or not, and if so, by what method?

I dont want to keep the stock wheels, I want new wheels. i will be sticking with 18s. & i mean meaty tire set up.
Okay let me rephrase, I know what range offset is best, but not with spacers. And I dont wan’t to have to worry about any rubbing or clearing the breaks or anything. So I’m really just trying to figure out what the spacers affect in terms of wheel offset. Maybe I should just ditch them if new wheels & tires will fill out the wheel well?
No I’m not talking about camber I just meant a concave wheel.

Ok, so this thread is a bit confusing! But, hopefully I can clear it up somewhat.

In your case, you want a flush concave wheel setup. In order for you to get a concave face wheel installed, then you NEED to uninstall the spacers you currently have. Since if you leave them on, the new wheels you purchase need to have a high offset to compensate, which in turn, leads to a flat faced wheel.

Most popular 18" size wheels for flush concave 370Z are going to be this:

18x9.5 +12 ~ +22 Front
18x10.5 +12 ~ +22 OR 18x11.0 +15 ~ +20

There are a lot of different variations, but this seems to be the standard without any work to the fenders (i.e. rolling / pulling). But, again. Those sizes you can run, but WITHOUT spacers.

Check this 370Z out. Sitting on Enkei RS05-RR 18x9.5 +22 Front / 18x11.0 +16 Rear

Is this the type of setup you are looking at?
