Has anyone driven with the Pilot Sport 4S in sub freezing temps ?

Just curious with everyone's experience and whether or not it is doable.

I'm interested in this too. I'm concerned because the description on TireRack says they rubber could crack and you will need to replace the tire. I'm running PSS and haven't had a problem but I would like to get the 4S. I can deal with reduced grip in cold weather but not having to replace $1200 worth of tires because they got too cold.

Going to get down to 10F here this week. The Z stayes in the garage overnight but will be sitting in the cold all day at work.

I've driven my PSS's at 30F. Just don't do anything stupid with the gas, brakes, and cornering. The grip does decrease with the cold temps.

I have PS 4s based from Michelin this tires are not drivabily safe below 45F.

You are at your own risk. Insurance might challenge the claim once you get into an accident.

I have been driving mine under 32F. Like Rusty said just realize you don't have the same amount of grip and you'll be fine.

Very doable, not the most optimal for the tires though. Not sure how/if it affects their lifespan

And another thing. If you order those tires now, and live in the north part of the country. It's minus 30F in some parts. Those tires are cold in the delivery truck. Something to think about.

I am on RE-11's and drove 52 miles into work this morning with the temp at 21 deg. You can tell it. No grip. I rode on 4 bricks for five miles or so. I only have to endure this for about one week a year. That is doable. Month or more at a time is not. It is supposed to sleet/snow here tomorrow. I won't be going to work, I will work from home. Forget driving in that mess. Anything less than 32 deg and it starts to get sketchy.
