Oh he had 18s, got it. I'd have to do a search, can't recall exactly, but the 2012 TPMS part number might be different from 2015. The 2015 TPMS might not work on 2012. I can't remember what year is the cut off. I will look it up tomorrow. If that's the case he will have to move the 2012 ones to the new wheels.
