Driving up to Jerome this Saturday with my buddy and his GTR.

I'm pretty excited. I've been wanting to drive in some twisty's for a long time, and get out of Phoenix, even if for a few hours.

Is it just you two?
Looking for another?
Maybe more?

I am wanting some twisty's and photos.

So far it's just us. I'm sure more are welcome. I'm waiting for him to wake up (he works a night shift usually) and I'll get some details for ya.

I know for sure that the best twisty route is up Grand Ave through Wickenburg, then through Yarnell, Congress, and Prescott. 3hrs one way.

Yikes. I put a lot of miles on my car already. If we are going to drive 3 hrs, we might as well just go one more hr and hit vegas and stay the night.

I think Jerome is only an hour or more right?

If you go the 17 route, but it's pretty boring that way.

Here are the two/three different routes...

Looks like option C is the most fun and also only 10-15 minutes longer then shooting straight up the 17

Scottsdale to Payson then across on the 260 to Jerome is a rad run too as long as you dont get stuck behind old man bikers.

Yeah, the one up through Wickenburg has the most turns though, just quite a bit longer.

If you guys make the trip on Saturday and take I-17 on the way back, you should stop by my firehouse and say hello. I'll be on-shift. Exit 242 at Black Canyon...

If y'all want to go, you're welcome to join.

Probably going to do option C, as I don't think most people will want to do the three-hour drive.

Default Pennzoil Ultra

Does anyone go to WalMart to get their oil? If you do, does anyone know if your WalMart you go to carry Pennzoil Ultra? It seem I can't find it in any WalMart 20 miles from where I'm at. Thanks everyone!

I get my oil there, but I use Mobil 1. Can't get a better price anywhere else...

Ya WalMart has very cheap oil. I bought my 25 buck for 6 quart for Ultra about 7 month ago. And now it dont seem to have it anymore. Pepboy has Ultra but it's about 10 bucks a quart!

Hopefully this works; doing it from my phone.

Link to info on the Jerome cruise. I think there are four, maybe five people going so far?
