Yeah, that's my next place.

Just spoke with my salesman in Vegas and he had this to say:

The 02 sensors are doing thier job and throwing the code. You may not have had an issue until now but at some point they would have detected too much air in the exhaust because the engine would have ran slightly lean. This can especially happen with high flow cats. Lean make more power but you run a risk of detonation in the engine. The best thing to do is to take it to a shop with a dyno and have the car tuned. They can adjust the mixture through the rpm band and keep it from happening.
So, I may just have to bite the bullet and get the UpRev tune.

So we'll see. I wonder how bad it is to just keep driving it as is. Maybe the 110+ temps are getting to it?

Could be the temps. I have a supercharged Toyota 4Runner with all of the fuel mods, and it throws a codes and runs a bit sluggish in the summer. It runs strong in the cooler months. On the Z, I have a Nismo exhaust with Top Speed axle back and haven't had any codes.

I will say, adding the oil cooler really helped my oil temp. Last summer when I bought the car, it was around 230 degrees. This year in 110+ temps I'm running about 200-210.

I guess the cooler on the '13 models isn't sufficient enough. Def. not getting those temps in the Summer. 220-225ish.

I installed the cooler end of last year and was waiting til this summer to see what the difference would be. Z runs much better with it. Plus, puts an extra quart of oil in the system and a larger filter. A worthy investment!

Oh...and here's a pic of my 4Runners motor....enjoy
