![]() There is no way to tune without "getting the up rev flash", as you put it. A tune is useful for throttle response and fan control even without any mods. You don't need a tune for intakes and exhaust, but a tune will take advantage of them better than the stock tune. A tune really helps the car utilize bolt-on mods to their full potential.
