EcuTek is proud to announce the release of ProECU Tuning Tools for the Nissan 370Z

Nissan 370Z Tuning Tools

EcuTek is proud to announce the release of ProECU Tuning Tools for the Nissan 370Z.

Features

EcuTek tuning tools provide access to a wide range of calibration data for the OEM 370z ECU, such as:

  • Fuelling
  • Ignition Timing
  • Knock Control
  • Cam Timing
  • Accelerator to Throttle Mapping
  • Torque Demand Control
  • Sensor Scaling
  • Rev Limiters
  • Speed Limiters
  • DTC Enable & Disable

http://www.ecutek.com/news/newslette...list-small.png

EcuTek's ProECU Nissan 370Z Tuning Suite can program an ECU in as little as 40 seconds.

ProECU also includes tools to read and clear DTCs, providing another useful tool for diagnostics and tuning.

Other powerful features include precise ignition, knock, fuel and torque control.

Access to the sensor calibration data within the ECU makes adjustments for intakes, exhausts and other custom hardware easy.
RaceROM Features

RaceROM Features

EcuTek RaceROM is a suite of feature enhancements available for OEM ECUs tuned with EcuTek tuning tools, which offers increased tuning & driving capabilities. The current 370Z RaceROM Features are:
  • Custom Ignition Timing - The 370Z standard ignition timing is difficult to calibrate, so RaceROM implements a single ignition table which works with the ECUs standard knock retard and dynamic advance strategy to make the most from the ECUs features while making tuning quicker and easier. You can also use the standard ignition control strategy if you so wish.
  • Live Data Parameters - RaceROM provides datalogging parameters not implemented by the Consult-III or Standard OBD parameters such as:
    • AFR Bank 1 & 2
    • Engine Load
    • Knock Sensitivity - The threshold for knock detection.
    • Knock Intensity - The actual amount of knock.
    • Injector Duty
    • Ignition Correction - The amount of knock retard or advance from the 370Z dynamic advance system.
    • Ignition Timing Calculated - The ignition timing calculated by the standard ignition control strategy.
  • Enhanced ECU Security - Making the ECU more secure to protect your work.

Data Logging & Analysis

EcuTek's ProECU Nissan 370z Tuning Suite also includes a comprehensive suite datalogging and analysis tools. These provide you with the 58 standard, plus any EcuTek Custom parameters. You can view and log these in real time.

The software also allows you to analyse any logged data parameter against another, creating custom 2D and 3D graphs for easy visualisation and analysis.

What kinda price are we looking at with this???

G37sHKS 04-17-2013 09:05 AM

Will it work with G37 Gulf Spec?

My tuner is EcuTek dealer in UAE

This software will not be the cheapest option on the market but will offer more support and a lot more advanced features in the months to come.

EcuTek's ProECU Programming Kit w/ License is $600.

The kit contains a USB OBD2 Cable, EcuTek software that has advanced diagnostic features and Nissan Tools.

I'll be offering ETunes for non-forced induction cars for $350

EcuTek just released this software to the public today so in order to tune your local EcuTek dealer would need to purchase the software suite

But what year G37?

If we don't have support now it literally only takes a few days to add support!

Jordo! 04-17-2013 10:05 AM

Will there be anything built in to prevent damaging pistons or valves due to too much cam adjustment? Sort of a max limit failsafe?

Is that a issue on these cars?

Normally cars have min/max values for tables like this to prevent such damage.

I'm 100% sure if we have support for that right now.

We could confirm support two different ways:

1. By plugging in a EcuTek Pro ECU cable into the car and reading the ECU
2. By grabbing the ecu id that's located on the actual ecu label

Neo187H 04-17-2013 10:23 AM

So what can this do over the widely used UpRev?

Advanced Nissan Tools -

Bank Balancing
Per Cylinder Enable / Disable (For Diagnostics)

ABS Tool
Steering Wheel Angle Calibration Tool

Proper Injector and Intake Scaling Tables

Full Ignition Control !

These cars have more than one Ignition Timing strategy causing the car to shift between different timing modes and ignition tables. These tables are shown in calculated burn time values.

It's overly complicated and doesn't offer the full control the tuner really needs.

So not only has EcuTek removed the Ignition Timing Limits they have setup a simple Ignition Timing Map that is shows everything in Degree's Top Dead Center.

This is just the tip of the iceberg...

I don't see 2011 370z US manual on the list. Are they supported?

EcuTek has the ability to support all 370z..

There are several different ROM IDs for every year so we won't know until we plug in. If we don't support you rom it'll only take a few days to add support.

Let me know if you have any questions

Alstann 04-17-2013 12:23 PM

Does this software have contol over the VVEL intake cams?

Mitco39 04-17-2013 12:26 PM

Purrrrrty neat! The ABS stuff would have came in handy for me over the past couple weeks.

ZKraken22 04-17-2013 12:27 PM

I love this. visconti does a good job for the GTR. Sounds like this will fix the response of the car. their is a major delay when i step on the patal

Finally. It's just to bad they are a little late to the game. I've already got the UpRev crap and really don't feel like spending more money. Very nice, though

This is cheaper than UpRevs I think there tuner license is around $700 or so.

EcuTek is late in the game for the GTR as well.. But they had to really understand the Ecu logic before releasing the product.

This delay will benefit everyone BIG TIME!

All the turbo 370z will love the software that coming

I'm afraid that would show more about the tuner than the software.

Alstann 04-17-2013 01:17 PM

This is interesting...I might have to look into this software for the FI application.

wheee! 04-17-2013 01:22 PM

interesting....

dP3NGU1N 04-17-2013 01:22 PM

I'm glad we're finally getting more options. =D yay progress. :woot:

chrischhorn 04-17-2013 01:24 PM

May have to sell my license to a friend and buy this....this is definitely interesting. Can't wait to see how this goes!

redline10000 04-17-2013 01:36 PM

Funny that this came out today when I was looking online to buy uprev. Guess I will wait a month or two to see what you guys can do.

BigT 04-17-2013 01:45 PM

Interesting to see how the timing and VVEL is handled.

After reading this thread, I didn't know that UpRev had such limited control. Its no wonder our cars self tune.

Sh0velMan 04-17-2013 01:57 PM

We definitely need more documentation/screenshots on how you're handling VVEL and Timing.

MyKindaGuise 04-17-2013 02:01 PM

Hey Visconti,

I am the guy that Will is getting the ROM file from to send to you guys tonight. Looking forward to the results! I know your GTR tunes are legendary :tiphat:

I will certainly do a review of everything for the forum.

Sh0velMan 04-17-2013 02:07 PM

Oh, and whatever functionality the ABS Tool has.

Well EcuTek overrides all the factory ignition timing logic with one simple Ignition timing table that is displayed is Degrees Top Dead Center.. No burn time / random numbers lol

Hopefully we have support, or can add support before the week is over

If you already have UpRev tuning on your car, what sort of pricing would someone be looking at to convert it to ECUTek?

Will there be a discount since it's not the OEM tune?

How many certified installers are there for ECUTek, and where can we find a listing of them?

:tiphat:

Z eliminator 04-17-2013 06:27 PM

Do you have the settings for the GTM built 7 AT ?

Well that sucks. But, what good is UpRev if the motor is going to make its own changes anyway?
