Hey Squeeze, everythin ECUtek can do will kind of make the Gtm racelogic traction control dead weight won't it?

For the most part it seems that way I have to wait and see , I have know regrets in buying the unit . The one thing I am not sure Ecutek can do is full throttle shifting like the Racelogic can .
I am not getting rid of the Racelogic system I will use both .

Flat foot shifting is one of the race rom options be worked on now.

Update First Page please

Visconti, your original post on the first page is outdated with the various questions people have that you had answered. It makes it hard for someone trying to follow this thread have to read through all the post just to find out the extra features or added things that this software can do.

Can you please update the original post with all the added features discussed throughout the thread, along with pricing, listing of authorized tuners throughout the world who support/tune with this software. Basically everything that has been covered so far that is not covered in the first post.

I'm sure it will help a lot of folks who haven't chimed in but are trying to follow the thread.

I don't see how you would be able to change slip control settings on the fly like you can with the racelogic control knob, so I'm not sure it's an equal comparison. Am I missing something?

Thanks for the info. Wish I could help with a ROM dump, but there's no EcuTek facilities in Tennessee. Closest is Forged Performance in Atlanta. Very interested to see how all of this shakes out.

we can also send you one of our loaner cables if your interested in getting your cars ROM read to include in the database. We have afleet of 50 loaner cables, so our customers don't have to wait to get calibrations.

We are also all over the country each month, and can gladly stop by a local club meeting, dyno day, or shop to read a car, set you up with a calibration, or just BS about what this cool new SW brings to the table!

Let me know......

[QUOTE=visconti;2271071]This software will not be the cheapest option on the market but will offer more support and a lot more advanced features in the months to come.

EcuTek's ProECU Programming Kit w/ License is $600.

The kit contains a USB OBD2 Cable, EcuTek software that has advanced diagnostic features and Nissan Tools.

I'll be offering ETunes for non-forced induction cars for $350

John,

I am interested in ETune. I have a Non FI car. Let me know how/where I can get this.

All the best to you.

I currently had UpRev software on my car for my na tune and nitrous tune. Would that be something that will be available in the future?
Products and Services
Currently this is the shop that is the closest to me since I am in NC. I just don't know how I feel about only having one map. Has anyone used this software yet with nitrous?

Not on the 370Z platform, but with the GTRs

It might be best that you wait until we have map switching and a few other things

How would the E tune work. Just for my case getting 4-6 hours away from home is hard. I would be open to this? $350 is not bad at all. Would we get a OTS tune and make some runs and send the data back to fine tuned?

Thanx John

The tune itself is $350 , you'll need a EcuTek cable and license which is $600.

I've said this before - not the cheapest option - but powerful option

John, any idea when the VVEL part of the software will be tested and ready for all of us?

This is the question of the day!

visconti 05-11-2013 02:04 PM

It is part of the software, haven't spent much time playing with it

This is probably your biggest bargaining chip against the competition, it would be interesting to see what you can do with this...

I wouldn't say that.

ProECU already has a number of very useful dealer tools incorporated into the software, that combined with the on going development - its going take this platform to a entirely different level.

Very true! You should see some of the neat stuff we played with this weekend. Should make these cars a whole lot more fun to drive!

Nobody likes a tease. Out with it. I cancelled my uprev dyno tune until I see results on a turbo z.

I'm holding off on doing turbo tuning until we have the new VE Based Speed Density

Not a tease, we just don't have numbers yet. We spent the weekend playing with cam timing, throttle maps, and a few other things. Driveablity on the track was much improved, and the car was quicker at the end of the weekend, than it was when we started. Stay Tuned.............

So what is the story with the hand full of people that were going to test this product out a week and half ago to almost two weeks ago? What kind of numbers were you guys getting and what did you think?
